We are currently not carrying out any vaccinations against smallpox/monkeypox in our practice The vast majority of monkeypox cases are harmless in humans It is not expected that a pandemic such as the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus will develop The Ministry of Health assumes that the event will be limited in time and place Infection occurs predominantly through close physical contact Since October 2022, only a few cases from Germany have been reported to the RKI and the global rate of new infections is falling.
